Summary

November 4th the polls are open 8:00am - 8:00pm; at the Clerk’s option, polling places mayopen at 7:00 a.m.
Contact your County Clerk to find a voting location near you. You may also vote absentee up until November 4th.


Deadlines

  • Register to Vote (FAQs)
    • In person: by October 11 (the 25th day prior to an election).
    • By mail: postmarked by October 11 (at least 25 days prior to the election)
    • At the polls: November 4 (bring photo IDproviding proof of residence)
  • Absentee Ballots (calendar)
    • Wednesday, October 29 - last day to request an absentee ballot
    • Monday, November 3 - last day to request ballot in person at county office
    • Tuesday, November 4 - last day for return of absentee ballots by 8:00 p.m.

    Voting Equipment

    Since 2004, Covansys Corporation and PCC Technology Group have been selected to provide the State of Idaho and the Counties with a centralized statewide voter registration system required under the Help America Vote Act of 2002. Sequoia Voting Systems will offer for certification a Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) voting system.
