Voting Equipment
As of the Fall of 2006, all Louisiana's voters began using the AVC Advantage Voting Systems for election day voting. On this direct recording voting system, the entire ballot for the voter will appear on the screen. The new voting systems are smaller, lighter, and easier to operate than the old lever-operated machines. They are receiving rave reviews from the poll workers throughout the state.
